The
Munot Foundation had recently organised
an “Osteopathy Camp” from April
6, 2007 to April 9, 2007 at Kalpataru Synergy in Mumbai.
Renowned Osteopath from Jodhpur, Dr. Govardhanlalji Parashar
and his associates, had rendered their services for the
camp. Treatment at the camp was offered without any charge.
Dr. Goverdhanlal Parashar, a practitioner of alternative
medicinal therapy using ayurveda, has done his Doctorate
in Ayurvedic Medicine (gold medalist) from Allahabad University.
For treatment Dr. Parashar uses Osteopathy which is a unique
method of treating the patients with bone, nerve and muscular
disorder without any oral medicine. He specializes in the
healing of Slip Disc, Cervical Spondylosis, Thyroid, Hormonal
Imbalance, Calcium Deficiency, Frozen Shoulder, Muscle Problems,
Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Cerebral Palsy, Migraine, Ligament
Tear, Prostate Sciatica, Diabetes, Height Problem and Obesity
to name a few.
Over 375 patients were treated during the 4 day camp. Dr.
Parashar and his team were on the job throughout the day
and worked for more than 15 hours a day with just one break
in between. Overall, patients were very much satisfied with
the treatment and felt a miraculous change in their problems
they were suffering. The camp was a huge success.
 We
undertake beautification and maintenance of city roads and
traffic islands to improve the cityscape throughout the
city.
 We provide
and maintain road dividers for added road safety.
 One
of our projects, Kalpataru Heights was awarded the "Best
Illuminated Building" award as part of the City Beautifying
Drive, 31st December 1999. This drive was organized by an
NGO.
 We
are devoted to fostering the next generation, and instilling
in them understanding and responsibility that is part of developing
an urban landscape. To this end, we invite educational institutions
to visit our projects, and help the younger generation understand
how new technologies can be used responsibly to build a better
future for our cities.
 We
organized a lecture at J.J School of Architecture by eminent
architect Thakur Desai and past students of the J.J School
to give the students a practical understanding of architecture
with reference to the Indian city landscape.
 We
organized a workshop for students all over India at IIT Kanpur,
and made arrangements for the students to visit Kalpataru
sites.
 We sponsor
awards for outstanding students at VJTI.
 We have
Mobile Crèches, organized by an NGO, at a number of our sites.
These Mobile Crèches take care of the construction workers'
children and educate them while their parents work on the
site.
 We help
to improve the standard of living among the underprivileged,
and give them a chance for a better tomorrow. Kalpataru provides
educational infrastructure and textbooks and notebooks for
needy students. We also help provide means of livelihood to
the widows and elderly by giving them sewing machines free
of cost.
The
Munot Foundation, a public charitable trust, created
by Mr. Mofatraj Munot in September 1988 is instrumental in
carrying out social and charitable work. Under the Foundation's
auspices, numerous acts of charity have been carried out.
 An electric
substation was built to serve the towns of Nakshatrana and
Khedoi in Gujrat after the 2001 earthquake.
 The establishment
of a drinking water system for the city of Pipar, and it's
surrounding areas in Rajasthan - a region that has suffered
from chronic droughts.
 A Free
Mobile Surgical and Eye Camp were organized for the citizens
of Pipar and its neighboring cities. This camp was conducted
for ten days in November 2001, with a record of 45 doctors.
We successfully treated approximately 9000 people at this
camp.
 This is
but a small part of the overall community effort that helps
make Kalpataru Group a dependable and trusted name in India
and the rest of the world.
